Tony Chieh-Tse Hou

Tony Chieh-Tse Hou is a Professor of Finance in the College of Management at National Dong Hwa University, Taiwan. His research centers on financial market regulation, industry innovation, and investment strategies, with a strong emphasis on empirical analysis and policy relevance. In recent years, he has increasingly focused on sustainable finance, including carbon pricing and trading, climate risk disclosure, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) issues. His work contributes to understanding how sustainability factors influence corporate behavior and financial markets. He also explores behavioral finance, particularly the role of emotions in shaping judgment and decision-making under uncertainty.

侯介澤，現任國立東華大學管理學院財務金融學系教授。其研究領域主要涵蓋金融市場監理、產業創新與投資策略，並著重於實證方法之應用與政策意涵之探討。近年來，研究逐步拓展至環境、社會與公司治理（ESG）及永續金融相關議題，包括碳定價與碳交易機制、氣候風險財務資訊揭露，以及自然解方等議題，致力於分析永續因素對企業決策與金融市場之影響。此外，其研究亦延伸至行為財務學領域，關注情緒因素於不確定情境下對個體判斷與決策之影響，以深化對投資行為及市場運作之理解。

Yale's Nordhaus and NYU's Romer win 2018 Nobel Economics Prize for work on climate and tech innovation

Their research integrates environmental factors and technological progress into economic analysis, showing how sustainable growth can be achieved alongside climate policy.

The 2025 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences was awarded to Joel Mokyr, Philippe Aghion, and Peter Howitt for their work on innovation-driven economic growth.
