Although these are far from complete lecture notes, you may find them helpful because they list the artists who have been covered in each lecture, and in the case of music, the names of the musical selections played as part of the lecture are included.  In a typical quarter for Art Education 160, nineteen lectures are given. This page links you to the lectures and you can access each one by clicking on the number of the lecture that you want.  Sometimes, material from a lecture will spill over into the next lecture in class.  When this happens, the content then may be found on two pages.

Some lectures are under revision at this time and may not be available on this page. When they are ready, they will be linked.  Other lectures will not be presented exactly in class as they appear here because of last minute changes to the lectures.  Contemporary art and music is anything but static, and the 160 staff are always in the process of revising and updating lecture material.If you are interested in learning more about the artists listed, click on the names.
