There was an old woman who took care of all the children in a village. She knew all about charms and healing, so all the village people respected her, even though she was very ugly.

One day a beautiful girl came to the old woman because she was in love with a young man who did not love her. The old woman made up a love potion for her. The potion would make a man fall asleep and then fall in love with the first person he saw when he woke up.

Later that week, a young man came to see the old woman because he had a headache. Getting confirmed that this young man is the one the young girl falling in love with, the old woman called the beautiful girl over to her house and gave the young man herbal medicine to cure his headache, as well as the love potion. Right after he drank the love potion, the young man fell asleep. The young girl ran to the house, but was so excited she went the wrong way and got lost. When the young man woke up and saw the only person in the house- he fell in love with the old woman.

The old woman did not love the young man, so she helped the young girl and made a mask. When the beautiful young girl wore the mask she appeared ugly and old. The young man fell in love with the young girl when he saw the mask. She wore the mask at all time and they lived happily ever after.
