What are our true goals in life and how do we continually drive ourselves closer to achieving these goals? There are many facets within our world and ourselves and how are we to learn and live within them? I am determined in exploring and motivating others to continually reach for the best in their selves and believe in their true potential. It is a real challenge to keep on the path towards a goal and to make every action in everyday directed to that goal. It is a balance that I strive to find. There is so much in this world and I want to challenge and push myself to be a better person. I am always learning from everyone and everything, and it is that open mindedness that will allow me to succeed in my aspirations. Teachers are everywhere in this life, we just have to be open to learning. By learning from multiple perspectives I feel that a greater more worldly understanding is achieved. It is this understanding that will hopefully improve our future. It is the future that we can directly affect, and through teaching I plan and will share and explore how to better ourselves as a part of our world. There are key aspects that I feel are important in developing this awareness and understanding. The community is a crucial component to cultivating positive relationships and appreciation for life. Another component is multiculturalism or diversity. I feel that as a world society we should celebrate our differences. This awareness and appreciation of our differences could prevent prejudices and ethnocentricity. It is a culmination of these values and experiences that I hope to continue to develop within myself and impart on others.
